Sustainability is Not a Choice: A Manifesto
What if good enough was enough the entire time?
This is a community for those brave enough to try. To try not perfectly, not flawlessly, but to be incrementally better at something that nudges our world, however slightly, toward something greater. You don’t need a long résumé. You don’t need to speak the jargon. You don’t even need a master plan. You just need to begin.
Because something has shifted. Where once there was encouragement, there is now scrutiny. Where small, positive steps were once celebrated, they are now dismissed for not being enough. We have become louder in criticism than in support, quicker to point out what is missing than to recognize what is moving forward.
There is no place for that here.
Because that mindset does not inspire progress, it suffocates it. It leaves people and businesses standing still, afraid to act unless they can be perfect. And standing still is not neutral. It is not harmless. It is, in fact, the worst outcome of all.
Sustainability is not a choice. It is a necessity. A responsibility we all share.
But progress does not begin with perfection. It begins with action.
So what if good enough is enough for now?
